Back to routine

This week we are back to the normal routines of teaching and learning. In Literacy we have begun the unit on 'Street Child', which links History with Literacy and should be fun. The new guided reading groups are working really well. Mrs Bell is thrilled with progress from the less able readers - they are doing so well! Well done! Miss Hughes has bought us new books - everyone has taken one home and will be able to have another one on Friday.

Maths has been the efficient methods for division - some children are being to appreciate the need to know the tales by heart - keep practising them, everyone! There should be time to look at the maths tests we did to find out where we might have gained more marks.

The display for the creative week should be complete by Friday (hopefully!) The work is ready to go up ; it's a matter of finding time to finish it off. We will also be doing one in the hall, which gives more people the opportunity to see all the work from the themed week.

Thank you Anum for your lovely comment. You are a kind girl. Some days can be boring at school, but luckily there are the good days too.
It will be Eid soon - are you having a day off next Friday?
Tomorrow we are raising money for 'children in need'. Are you doing anything for it at your school?
Hope to see you soon.
