Going into the next week

Hello, everyone, do hope you are well and enjoying the beautiful weather we are having at last! I have been away to Hastings and London and am feeling GREAT. Great enough to start the decorating again - need to paint 3 more doors and the skirting board of the stairs. They will need two coats; the undercoat to nenew it and then the second coat which will give it a gloss finish. I think I'll get up earlier tomorrow and make a start before I go and see my dad for his 83rd birthday. He keeps changing his mind to what his age really is - think I might start doing the same!

Good to see the comments people are writing on the Blog. Keep them coming as they make it interesting and let others know what you are doing. Miss Akhtar sounds like she is having a 'whale of a time' (thought I'd use some of those English sayings, like authors sometimes do!)

Have fun, all!

Hi, Anum, as always lovely to hear from you. Glad you are having fun in the sun, and that you've seen so many friends. It's good to keep in touch. I need to phone my sister in a minute and a friend from Christchurch school (she retired at an early age and has more spare time than me)to meet her for coffee.
Have a great week, Anum.

Mrs when i was walking past victoria school i was stunned at how the playground was looking how come when we left you decided to make the playground more nicer mrs why dont you try to take pictures of the playground when you go back to school and put them on the blog so we can see them

Hey, Anum don't take this personally - our bid for the money came through at last. Poor Mrs KirkPartick has been trying for years to get more money to have the playground redone. It is a shame that you will not benefit, but it will be nice for all the children in the future.
I will put some photos up, I promise.I must go and see what is happening at school sometime next week - I am so busy!
Hope you are having fun. Take care.

Hi, Fatima, glad to hear you are enjoying high school. You were ready for the move. I was chatting to your dad who said how much you and Zain had grown and matured. Well done, we are proud of you.
Do come and see us in your uniform sometime soon.
