On Wednesday Mrs Bell waited impatiently for a text message (it was the day of the media challenge and she was at Coven). Unfortunately, no-one from the school office contacted her - Mrs Bell was disappointed. However, she rand Sharon Bywater at the Staffordshire Partnership to find out the results of the media challenge.
Sharon exclaimed, "You are next on my 'to do' list! The judges were impressed with the newspaper front page and story on the story board was good. The one thing some schools had done was add some direction to the video story board. But the good news is that you have come second although there is no prize for that".
She added we should be very proud of ourselves as it was our first time in the competition. Also if any of the other schools decide they can't go on July 9th, we will get their places. Like Anum, Mrs Bell has crossed her fingers.
Well done, everyone. Victoria is getting known for good things around the county. Today the Year 3 and 4 children came back with the CRICKET TROPHY! Mrs Turner, once again is delighted (so is Mrs Bell!).
