Time is whizzing by fast! Year 6 are busy revising as many areas as possible. This week we will be looking at how poetry is written and writing some poesm of our own. Remember everyone, poesm have to be unpicked for their messages.
In maths the last tests showed how important it is that everyone attempts to answer accurately. It is easy to slip into Level 3 by being careless. Read carefully, circle important information and focus your answer to the ACTUAL question.
Mr Lawrie is going to be teaching some of the lessons in Year 6. He has already started teaching Science and Geography and done a wonderful job. We look forward to his block teaching practice in a week's time.

Hi Mrs Bell, on Sln2 i posted to many disscution wich all say the same. i could not find it on the page so i thought if i kept on trying it , it will eper up but then i found theres an arrow wich takes me to a differnt page.

Sana, sometimes you have to do the things you are worried about otherwise you do not learn to be strong and confident. I hope you WILL go to Coven as you get to do activities like canoeing, rock climbing, seeing the source of rivers, etc. You will not get this opportunity again - you will be with people you take care of you, friends you have had since you began school, etc.
Regarding April Fools joke - I WAS not expecting children to WANT to come to school - this shows how much you enjoy learning. Coven is learning new things too, lot of them! Re consider, I urge you.

Hello, and apologies for not reading comments sooner - not accessing internet very well currently!
No, Hamza, we are not doing sample science tests so that's one less day of testing. Friday will be a creative day with a party in the afternoon!
Sana, you are doing the right thing - little and regularly - well done!

I have not done as much work as I hoped to but we often plan to do too much!
