How quickly time is going by! We are already in week 5 of the Spring Term. Year 6 pupils and staff are working their socks off! There will be a little more homework this term - all to help everyone achieve the best they can! On SLN there are some internet links - these will help to practise maths skills in a fun way.
Next Monday, 7th February there is a SATs meeting to help parents and pupil understand the expectations. This is always a very useful meeting and often a HUGE eye opener for all concerned.
On Monday we will do guided writing about a report on Victoria School. This should be enjoyable. Maths this week is to secure some mental maths strategies. We need everyone to aim for 15 out of 20 in the test as it gives people a good head start.
Keep learning those multiplication and division facts, everone! Also remember the target of doubling and
halving!

Hello, Sana and sorry I never answered your question - you need to stay in Mrs Lerigo's group for confidence building, which is what the small grouping does. Ask her about the areas you are stuck with and she will help - bit like one-to-none tuition in a small group. Just enjoy it and don't worry too much. The next assessment will show if it is helping you.

Thanks Mrs Bell.I went on sln2 and i looked at my attendance and it is 84%!. my mum is really upset with me. i am trying to make it rise but insted it goes down. i hope it goes up.i am really getting better at long divison.i'll do some and show some to you.

Hi, Sana, Mrs lerigo has been telling me how hard you are working. Keep it up. Glad you are mastering long division - once the method makes sense, it should become easier.
Your attendance has been good recently - it will be the first term that let you down. Don't worry - just keep coming to school each day from now on and it should go up.

Thank you, Hamza, I appear not to look at the blog so much now because we use SLN so much. I am pleased I have improved my skills on SLN - it is time-consuming though!
