Black Country Museum

Wednesday arrived, and children and staff arrived at school in their Victorian Clothes - everybody looked FANTASTIC! The teachers were so pleased
that parents had made so much
effort to help us with our trip.

It was hard to decide who was more excited - the staff or the children! We left promptly at 8.30 (Mrs Bell was stressing as there can be so much traffic on that route!) and managed to arrive in time for our guides at 10 am.

What a brilliant place - spacious, full of Victorian buildings, etc ,etc. The guides were great as were the staff who gave us information in each of the buildings. Everyone enjoyed the schoolroom, the mine was dark and made us squeal a little!

There were many compliments give to the staff for taking a well-behaved, enthusiastic group to the museum.

It made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Well done, everyone and thank you for a brilliant day.

Thank you, Sana, glad you enjoyed the day. Good job you came when you did!
Regarding your maths, Mrs Lerigo is teaching a small group of 6 so you will get more attention. It has helped Muazzmah so it may be worth moving for a short time. Think about it, and let me know on Monday.
Have a good weekend. I have put some nice links on SLN to help you with maths.

Hi, Sana, you are in Mrs Lerigo's group. However on a Tuesday when she is not in, you will work with the bigger groups. Hope it works out. Remember you are good at maths - it just takes you longer to get to the answer. EVERYONE has to work out the answer.See you tomorrow.

Hello, Sana, we will find some-one to help you. Remind me tomorrow. I just didn't want it to be Yasmin because she is using a method we have not taught children at Victoria. I need you to learn the chunking method only.
Do not worry, Please!
