Last Day of Term

The final Year 6 assembly was emotional. Parents, staff and children were reminded about all the wonderful memories Y6 will leave with. The class were presented with their CVs as well as dictionaries by Mrs Fearn. Two children - Aneesa and Qasim were awarded a special prize for being outstanding people.
After assembly, Sohail and Mrs Bell took records over to Abbot Beyne school. Other children got CVs signed by staff and then everyone had an extra long playtime - we tried a DVD but the new computer systems meant everything was not working properly.

The party in the afternoon was amazing. Everyone had so much fun and food ......... the staff was really pleased with the way everyone worked together and enjoyed themselves. Soon it was time to say 'goodbye' and 'good luck'. There were hugs from many, but some left quite quickly, perhaps feeling a little sad...!

ENJOY YOUR SUMMER, and remember you have learned so many skills for your future.

Hello, Anum and Sana, sorry I have not replied but I have not been viewing the Blog as hardly anyone seems to be on it. Glad you are now part of it - means I can update it and restart it.
Anum, I am really enjoying my new class - thank you. How is your new year going on? Sana, I like your writing style - some great work today!
Cinema tomorrow - should be fun. If Mrs Hastings is ill, I shall come otherwise it's catch up with managemnet jobs. I have quite a lot to do as deputy and I do like to stay on top of everything.
Have a good evening.

Hello, Anum, it's good to see you and your family reading this Blog. I will update it soon. We can't access it at school so it makes it difficult to share with the class. Keep writing! Have a good week - nearly half term!
Yes, we do collect food for Harvest.
