EID

Children celebrating Eid tomorrow can stay at home and have fun with their families. Year 6 made cards on the computer with Mrs Fearn on Tuesday and finished them off today in the classroom. It's been another busy week, with a lot of drama as well reading and writing in Literacy. Maths has been good - children seem to have become much faster with times tables and nearly everyone understands the written method for division.

Mrs Bell did some maths with the parent helpers. They found the different methods of addition and subtraction very interesting. One parents said, "Oh, this is great, now I know what my child is doing in school!".

Miss Akhtar, Mrs Bell and Mrs Shankly wish everyone a very happy Eid.
EID MUBARAK, ALL!

Shekaib, thank you, the party was WONDERFUL and I had a great time. It is good to have time to enjoy games and fun with my class - I am not just a nagging teacher, I like to have fun as well.
