Wow, the half term has flown by! In year 6 we have achieved lots and certainly learned in a variety of ways (safe-side, cinema, drama). We even went to the Nursery for a science lesson! It's been hard work but hopefully everyone has had some fun at the same time. As a school we have had a zero tolerance attitude to poor behaviour and used learning behaviour targets to learn more effectively. It's worked well in our class. This morning we planned the creative week together. By the time sh
e left, Mrs Bell had a flip-chart ready to use after half term. There will be 5 groups making their designed island which will form our Year 6 country. Mrs Shankly taught us a new word - archipelago - meaning a group of islands. This means each group can link their island. We are all looking forward to this themed week, but first everyone needs a good rest.Enjoy your half term, Year 6. Come back rested!

Hello there, Anum, glad you are having fun during half term. Yes, it's amazing how fast time goes. I am having a busy but enjoyable holiday.I tend to fill my free time with things to do and thus the week is quite hectic.Tomorrow we shall go to visit our son at University. I am busy making him some of his favourite oat biscuits. Might even make some spicy rice for him! You have to spoil children now and again!
Take care, Anum and thanks for writing on the Blog.
