HEALTH AND SAFETY WEEK

This week the whole school are thinking about Health and Safety. The morning began with an assembly by Mrs Turner, who explained what the week was about. Back in class, we thought about the aspects of health and safety we need to consider for our transition into high schools. Mrs Bell chose 5 leaders, after which children selected their own groups. Dhanyal was an excellent leader, ensuring his group worked well.

The afternoon started with a dance demonstration followed by a workshop for the class. It was brilliant! Everyone who joined in learned a sequence of fantastic movements. We just had enough time to go into the ICT suite before going home. It seemed such a short day (except for Miss Akhtar and Mrs Bell who had parent consultations)

Thanks for your comments, Anum, I think by the end of the first week, you will wonder why you were worried. It's great that Hannah is going to be in your class. I shall keep this Blog going for as long as people keep writing comments, and if it's only you, I shall still do the Blog.
I am glad you like this way of keeping in touch. Enjoy your last two weeks at Victoria. You have grown up so much, you will be ready for new challenges, and new learning.
See you on Monday as I am out tomorrow.
Mrs Bell
